Thank you to all those members ( 17/18) who turned up yesterday to make such a difference to the Poulshot site. The parking has vastly improved and increased in size, the new pits area has been completed, graded into the existing and sown. It's now looking great. In addition the committee would especially like to thank Pat Cuss for arranging the use of a digger.

The club was made very welcome at the Wiltshire air ambulance headquarters for a guided tour this evening, unfortunately the helicopter was out on a call, but the facilities they have were very impressive , especially the training room, with surround projections on all walls to simulate a situation, even had the walls with very realistic snow falling. Thank you Holly and Craig for the guided tour

Who is flying today?

Poulshot was mostly dry yesterday and certainly not too boggy. The grass has started growing and is getting a bit long if flying anything with small wheels.

Well Maiden flight over, with the Fairchild Argus, pleased with the results 90inch span , 12lbs weight, powered by a "120sized" electric motor, 6s, 5000 lipo, 17x 8 prop takes 1100 watts power which gave me 10 min flying and still power left.

Weather permitting, hope to go to Poulshot Sunday 11th , test fly the Fairchild Argus

Been up Poulshot today, just to look. Patch really good, short grass and hard surface. Track a bit bad but ok if you go steady.
